Create a Knowledge Article in the Portal

Only members of the Portal Workgroup Manager Security Group have the rights to create new Knowledge Articles in the Portal by default.

To create a new Knowledge Article in the Portal:

  1. In the OOTB IT Portal Site, open the Knowledge Article Dashboard by clicking Charts and Items>Knowledge Articles on the menu bar.
  2. Click the Create a Knowledge Article link in the Search Knowledge Articles section. If the link is not visible, review your Security Rights.
  3. Select an Article Type.
  4. Provide a Title and the Article Content.
  5. Click Save.
