Mobile Record Attachments

Cherwell Mobile allows you to attach photos to mobile records (if you have security rights) and to view record attachments on your device. Attachments supplement the information in a record, and can include any files that require a separate program to open, including documents (Word, Excel, etc.), PDFs, pictures (PNG, JPG, etc.), websites, and media files (MP3, MP4, etc.).

• Use your device's camera to take pictures and attach them to records. For example, take a picture of a damaged component in a printer and attach it to an Incident you are working on.
• Access these photos, as well as any other files that were attached to the record in the CSM Desktop Client, directly from your device.
  Note: The ability to open and view certain types of files depends on your device's capability.
