Update Foreign Keys for Validated Fields

You can easily update foreign keys for Fields that are validated from tables to ensure that Users see correct values after they have been translated and that existing records are updated with the foreign keys. Updates also apply to values that are auto-populated from a Field that has foreign key storage enabled.

To update foreign keys for validated Fields:

1. In the CSM Administrator Main Window, select the Globalization category, and then select Update Business Object Validation Foreign Keys.

   The Update Foreign Keys dialog opens.

2. Select one of these options:
   • Update all Business Objects

     Select this option to update foreign keys for validated and auto-populated Fields in all Business Objects.

   • Update a Business Object

     Select this option to update foreign keys for validated and auto-populated Fields in a single Business Object, and then select the Business Object from the list.

3. Select the Overwrite Existing Values check box to replace values for the Field.
4. Click OK.
