Select a specific object to search (example:
Incident, Problem, Vendor) from a drop-down. You can also Select whether to use
the
All Words/Any Words feature.

Open Advanced Editor
|
Run a refined search of a specific Business Object. A Quick
Search window opens with additional search criteria options.
Note: This type of search is not saved. To generate a Search
Group (saved search), see
Create a Search Group.

Open "Business Objects" only
|
Limits the search to records that have not reached their final
state (example: not closed).
Note: The lifecycle and terminology vary depending on the
Business Object and scenario (example: "Unapproved Changes only" might appear
when searching Changes). If the Business Object does not have a "final" or
closed state, the check box does not appear.

Search Control Changed Options
|
Limits the search to records that have changed during a
specific timeframe.
|
Relationships
|
Includes related Business Objects in the search
(example: If the search word appears in a Journal entry, the Incident to which
it is attached will be included in the search results).

Attachments
|
Includes record Attachments in the search
(example: Searches file attachments in each record).
|
Sorty by
|
Selects the Business Object field (column) to use to sort
the search results.
|
Descending Sort Order
|
Sorts the results in descending order (Z-A)
instead of ascending order (A-Z).

Search Within Existing Results
|
Once you run a search, this option can be used to narrow the
results by running another search within the results.
