Using Cherwell Mobile for Browser

Cherwell Mobile™ for Browser is a mobile-optimized website that provides access to Cherwell Service Management® (CSM) from mobile devices that have appropriate browser support (ex: Windows® and Blackberry® mobile devices). Access Cherwell Mobile for Browser on your mobile device using a URL that includes the name of the server where the Cherwell Service is installed (ex: http://servername/cherwellservice/mobile).

Good to know:

  • Cherwell Mobile for Browser is one of several clients in the Cherwell Mobile family. For more information about Cherwell Mobile and how to configure it for your mobile device, see the Cherwell Mobile documentation.
  • The Cherwell Mobile for Browser interface is similar to the Cherwell Mobile for iOS interface. For more information, see the Cherwell Mobile for iOS documentation.
  • The Browser Client and Portal menu bars both collapse into a hamburger menu on mobile screens, as well as browser windows sized below 768 pixels.
  • The Cherwell Mobile functionality and interface vary depending on your mobile device, OS, and theme.
